Earn Professional Development Hours:

Roads & Bridges Live conferences can be used to earn Professional Development Hours (PDHs). A PDH is usually defined as one hour of training for time spent in activities related to professional growth and development (a 1 to 1 ratio is used; 1.0 PDH for 1 hour of attendance). PDHs are most often used to renew professional engineer licenses. Most states allow you to track and log your own hours of training.

Attending a conference/seminar technical session/workshop and touring a facility usually qualify as a PDH activity. Participants will earn 16 PDHs for attending all the educational sessions at Roads & Bridges Live. Attendees at Paving Innovations-only or Bridge Infrastructure-only sessions earn 8 PDHs. An additional three PDHs will be earned for attending the Chicago Traffic Management Center Tour.
